Achieving the Dream recently recertified Lone Star College System’s status as a Leader College for its commitment to student success.

The Lone Star College-University Park Drama Department brings Steve Martin’s witty and insightful play, "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," to the stage beginning this weekend. Directed by William Grayson, the historical fiction imagines a chance encounter between the legendary artist Pablo Picasso and the brilliant physicist Albert Einstein in a Parisian bar in 1904.

The Lone Star College-Process Technology Center has earned a distinguished endorsement in their industry. The center successfully passed the NAPTA (North American Process Technology Alliance) endorsement audit and is now officially recognized as a NAPTA Endorsed College.

LSC-Kingwood turned out a record number of graduates last fall. More than 600 students received degrees or certificates in the fall of 2024.

Lone Star College-Kingwood is preparing to offer a new Polysomnography Program in Fall of 2025. Polysomnography is a health profession that performs sleep studies to assist in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.

Lone Star College-Montgomery proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 5, 2025, for the new Maverick Care Center, which is located on campus, on the 2nd floor of Building C. This new resource center aims to support students by offering a variety of essential services, including a fully equipped food pantry, a clothing closet with casual and career clothing, and mental health and crisis support resources.
