Cy-Fair College Theatre presents “Tite Rouge”  based on Houston playwright Yvonne Steely’s book and music through Aug. 18 in the Main Stage Theatre.

“This charming and rollicking retelling of Little Red Riding Hood is set in the swamps of Louisiana and is a perfectly delightful musical replete with wonderful Cajun music, clever dance numbers, and colorful down home Southern characters,” said Daria James, director. “Tite Rouge, ashamed of her Cajun upbringing, must take a long and intriguing journey toward finding the gift of life and becoming proud of her heritage. This show is a wonderful celebration of the human spirit!”

Performances will be held at 10 a.m. through Aug. 17 and at noon Saturdays, Aug. 11 and Aug. 18.
