Teach a class at Lone Star College System

LSC seeks adjuncts to teach a spring 2025 class
Lone Star College System seeks talented individuals to attend the Workforce Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Career Fair Oct. 15 from 3:30-7 p.m.

Lone Star College System (LSCS) adjunct professors like David Boettcher have a wealth of knowledge to shape the next generation of workers. LSCS invites individuals interested in teaching part-time to attend the Workforce Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Career Fair Oct. 15 from 3:30-7 p.m.

“My goal is to create a dynamic and inclusive educational experience that supports the growth of each student,” said Boettcher, LSC-CyFair kinesiology adjunct professor. “There is something special about seeing the lightbulb moment in students’ faces when a topic resonates with them - and that further drives my passion for teaching.”

LSCS will hold the Workforce Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Career Fair at the LSC-System Office, The Woodlands, in the Lone Star Community Building. Department chairs from various disciplines across the college system will assist job seekers with applications. Candidates should bring copies of their resume, unofficial transcripts, certifications and licenses. They can save time by printing and filling out a candidate information sheet for each interested location and position.

“Lone Star College System values workforce instructors and adjunct faculty who make a difference in students’ lives by giving them a first-hand look into their chosen professions,” said Patricia Woods, LSCS senior associate vice chancellor, Human Resources. “The college system is looking for more experts to join us as we continue to set students up for success.”

The LSCS Workforce Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Career Fair represents part-time teaching positions for in-person and hybrid classes starting in spring 2025. Learn more at LoneStar.edu/AFCF.
