Lone Star College-CyFair hosts numerous enjoyable opportunities for fall fellowship and lifelong learning classes designed just for active adults age 50 and better.

Come see what Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) programs will pique your interest and enrich your life this fall at the LSC-CyFair Open House set for Thursday, Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the College Center (CENT) Building 8.  

“The ALL program is an opportunity for members to get their creative juices flowing, make new friends, improve their health and stimulate the mind through a variety of fun and educational classes,” said Cyndi Seeberger, program manager. “Our schedule features cultural, historical, financial, legal, philosophical, healthful and spiritual topics as well as programs on cooking, crafting, gardening, traveling, writing and more.”

Along with all-time favorite classes returning this fall, such as Stepping Out, an outdoor walking fitness class, Cy-Hope, an opportunity to help improve life for children in the Cy-Fair community, and bus trips around the region, are some new fall offerings including Unique Silk and Greenery Arrangements, Fused Glass Snowflakes and Plastic Pollution, just to name a few.

Many benefits come with the annual $25 membership including the low-cost lectures, workshops and seminars, discount pricing on performing arts events, access to college libraries and more.

Another benefit is that members may choose to enroll in a mix of in-person and online classes offered at any of the LSC campuses as well as join online classes by phone if they do not have access to a computer.
