Lone Star College-Online will host an E-learning Symposium on November 12 and 13th, 2009. This exciting two-day conference is designed to support LSC-Online's mission to provide innovation, leadership and vision in support of emerging technologies proven to enhance the effectiveness of online learning.

Distance learning faculty will be offered unique and inventive ways to increase student success and engage the online learner through a series of speakers, breakout sessions and a panel discussion from our university partners and colleges.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Darcy Hardy, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Director of the University of Texas TeleCampus, one of the largest and most advanced distance education programs in the country.
