Don’t you just love a new year? We can start over and become the healthy, happy people we want to be. The trouble is, the excitement to make changes, especially with exercise and diet, fades once we realize how much hard work is involved and we want instant gratification.
If you want long lasting changes to your health and happiness—make the journey fun and try taking Zumba.
Lone Star College-North Harris’ Zumba class starts Saturday, Jan. 23, 11 a.m. to noon and is offered once a week.
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Fees are $35/$28.60 senior citizens. For more information call 281.618.5602.
