HOUSTON (June 25, 2019) – Under the campus leadership of Dean Dr. Luis Lucio, LSC-East Aldine Center will offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) 1308, an introductory course to learning the English language to meet the needs of a diverse community.
“The class accommodates individual goals in a workshop format,” said Lucio. “As Houston, and specifically the East Aldine community, continues to diversify, it is important to Lone Star College-East Aldine Center that we offer classes that people are searching for to meet their goals.”

ESOL classes at Lone Star College–East Aldine Center are designed for non-native English speakers who want to learn or improve their English grammar, listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing skills. ESOL is for students and working professionals wishing to build practical English skills in order to find a better job, improve day-to-day communications or take college-level classes to study for a career.
