Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park) invites the community to its annual Fit4Life Wellness Fair on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, from 1-4 p.m. in East Dining, located at 20515 SH 249, Houston, TX 77070. The event offers an invaluable opportunity for students, faculty, and the public to engage with over 20 health and wellness vendors.
"The Fit4Life Wellness Fair is more than an event; it's a commitment to fostering well-being within our campus and the broader community,” said Steve Kahla, Ph.D., LSC-University Park Vice President of Instruction. “Whether you're a student striving for academic success, an employee maintaining work-life balance, or a community member in search of health resources, this fair serves as a holistic platform for wellness education and engagement."
The free event, open to the public, aims to provide attendees with a wide array of health and wellness resources. Featured vendors will offer free health screenings, educational booths, healthy snacks, exercise demonstrations, and much more.

During the fair, attendees will have opportunities to sample items, discover resources for promoting healthier habits, ask questions, learn about the college, and participate in raffles and giveaways.
LSC-University Park offers more than 70 programs of study, including credit and non-credit courses, workforce training, and continuing education classes. Classes are available during the day, evenings, and weekends in traditional, online, and hybrid formats.
