Lone Star College System is hosting several meningitis vaccination clinics at each campus this summer.
Texas law requires most incoming college students to be vaccinated against bacterial meningitis or provide an exemption request declining the vaccine. Senate Bill 1107 amends current Texas law requiring proof of Bacterial Meningitis vaccination at least 10 days before attending classes.

Students over age 18 will receive vaccinations for $115. Students age 18 and under that are uninsured or underinsured will receive vaccinations for $14 through Texas Vaccines for Children. Parent permission via signature is required for students under 18 and all students must bring a valid picture ID with them to the clinic. Travelvax Travel Health Clinic will provide students with the Magnus proof of vaccination forms as proof of vaccination as they leave the clinic.
