Lone Star College-Tomball offers students and job-seekers alike the opportunity to build for the future…now.  Enrollment for fall 2012 Second Start classes is still underway.

Shorter than the traditional 16-week semester, Second Start classes provide students with greater schedule flexibility (as well as a second chance to take courses that begin later in the semester but end at the same time as regular classes) and job-seekers an opportunity to augment their skill set or make a career change.

Available academic courses include:

• Macro Economics
• Micro Economics
• Life-growth/development Psychology
• Principles of Sociology

Available workforce courses include:

• Electrical Drafting
• Fuel Cell Configuration

Second Start classes range from a gradual 14-week semester to an accelerated eight-week semester, depending on the start date.  Second Start classes at LSC-Tomball begin as early as September 24 and as late as October 22.
