Lone Star College-CyFair’s Cy-Fest 9th annual community event, set Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offers free winter fun and festivities for the whole family.
“The energy and enthusiasm of our employees, students and community members involved in this event is a reflection of our community as a whole to the commitment we all have to making Cy-Fair a wonderful place to live, work and raise our families,” said LSC-CyFair’s College Relations Executive Director Michelle Tran. “Our sincere thanks go to many local businesses and community partners who donate resources and volunteer time to this free event that has been drawing thousands of smiles since 2005.”
Cy-Fest offers festivities and fun for all ages with a petting zoo, face painting, pony carousel, moonwalks and stations for holiday coloring, bag decorating, ornament making and cookie decorating. New this year is the Winter Wonderland featuring Santa Claus, snowmen, holiday photo ops and more.
In addition, community members can also receive information on area non-profit organizations, learn about the college offerings and enjoy activities in the children’s library.
