(Jan. 6, 2011) – The last day to register for credit classes for the Spring 2011 semester at Lone Star College Systemis Saturday, Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Classes start on Jan. 18. Payment is due at time of registration.
Current students and recently-enrolled students may still register online at LoneStar.edu/registration or at any Lone Star College location. New students may apply for admission online with the new, easy-to-use application process found at LoneStar.edu/admissions or in person at any college location.
Onsite registration is being held at Lone Star Colleges from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
The new myLoneStar student information system, or portal, provides students with a way to easily access all student services including registration, financial aid and grade book, plus the ability to unify their e-mail, campus events calendar, news, secure online storage, and faculty communications and more in one website destination.
With more than 69,000 students in credit classes for fall 2010, and a total enrollment of more than 85,000, Lone Star College System is the largest institution of higher education in the Houston area, and the fastest-growing community college system in Texas.
