Art Exhibit Highlights Talent of LSC-Montgomery’s Faculty Members



by Denise LorenzDon’t miss a fantastic art exhibit featuring the talented artists that teach at Lone Star College-Montgomery during the Faculty Art Exhibit on display October 1-30 in the college’s Mary Matteson-Parrish Art Gallery, located in the Performing Arts Center (Building D).

The community is invited to the opening reception on Tuesday, October 2, at noon, in the same location. The reception is free and refreshments will be served.

The Faculty Art Exhibit will feature a variety of pieces including ceramics, glass, mixed media, and jewelry from faculty members Jon Adelmen, Michael Brown, Deborah Ellington, Denise Lorenz, Shelly Murney, Joe Pirog, Patricia Ramsey, Cynthia Reid, Robby Wood, Linda Woodward, and Malinda Wright.

The Mary Matteson-Parrish Art Gallery is a teaching gallery at LSC-Montgomery, and the exhibitions provided are free to the community. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
