Enjoy visiting artist Walter Wagner’s "sweet savors of Thy favors and blessings" at Lone Star College-CyFair’s summer Bosque Gallery art exhibition.
Join Wagner for the Instagram live virtual walk-through June 10 to hear how this artist combines his colorful, two-dimensional work, with a sense of moral/spiritual responsibility and educates those who partake in his art.
“The belief in the creation of art as a spiritual process, and recognition of the duality of the human existence, both physical and incorporeal, are crucial components in my work,” he states in his ethos.
In addition to prompting gleanings and reflections from his content about his motivations, Wagner hopes to promote opportunity for dialogue on spiritual concepts within art and beyond.
“This year, we felt the movement captured in a faculty artist’s pieces and a multitude of emotions a visiting artist created in his collective memorial sculptures,” said Bosque Gallery Director Jasleen Sarai. “Most recently, we saw our students’ talent shine in the end-of-the semester show and now we are excited to have Mr. Wagner wrap up our spring season with such a thought-provoking exhibition.”
Wagner’s dynamic and expressive artwork is available for leisurely viewing online and featured pieces will be displayed in the Center for the Arts lobby through July 15.
Art lovers can find art exhibition and gallery information on the Bosque Gallery website.
LSC-CyFair is also currently registering for summer session starting July 15 and the fall semester classes starting August 30 at LoneStar.edu/registration.
