Register your tween or teen for “A Day of STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at Lone Star College-CyFair set Feb. 18.
This Monday program designed for ages 10-16 includes guest speakers and activities such as stop motion animation, robotics, food science and ways to stretch the body and brain.
In addition to a student speaker panel, Klein ISD’s Bill Nebeker will bring items from the STEAM Express (STEM plus Arts) to give participants hands-on experiences with various types of technology.
Program activities will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. with lunch and snacks provided.
Registration is required by Feb. 14 at http://cflibguides.lonestar.edu/stemday and is limited to 48 attendees.
