The Lone Star College-North Harris Division of Fine Arts presents “Godspell,” directed by John Cash Carpenter. Performances are scheduled for Feb. 18 through Feb. 22.
In this entertaining musical, a small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus’s life dances across the stage.
Nightly performances will take place Wednesday, Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, Feb. 22, the play will conclude with a 2 p.m. matinee show.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students, faculty and seniors. Group discounts are available. Reservations are recommended. The performances will take place in the LSC-North Harris Performing Arts Theater located in the Fine Arts Building at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, Houston, Texas.
