Do you have what it takes to make a movie? Whose film will make the cut and win an award the annual Quack Attack Film Festival?
This annual event is the opportunity for amateur film makers to showcase their talents in the world of film and video and be honored for their unique abilities of storytelling.
Original video project entries must be submitted on DVDs and there is a $10 entry fee. Films and fee should be submitted in person by March 22 in the Technology Building Room 105 or postmarked before March 22, no exceptions.
Competition categories include: Drama, Comedy, Romance, Horror, Sci-Fi, Music Video, Documentary, News Package, Action and Public Service Announcements / Commercials. Each film will be judged on the basis of: Creativeness, Sound, Cinematography and Special Effects.
Each video will be judged by industry professionals on the basis of: Creativity, Audio, Story, Cinematography and Special Effects. In addition to awards given in each category, first-place winners in each will move forward to an overall category with distinguished trophies for the top three winners.
The Quack Attack Film Festival will be held at 7:30 p.m. April 26 in the Conference Center, located on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
