College’s ‘Hypnotizing’ Stage Show Promises Laughs, Fun

Fall under the spell of hypnotist William Mitchell at Lone Star College-Montgomery during a free Hypnosis Stage Show on Wednesday, February 27, from 1-1:50 p.m., in the Performing Arts Theatre (Bldg. D), Room 100. A reception and question/answer session on the field and science of hypnotism will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the lobby area.

The Hypnosis Stage Show is being offered by the college’s Psychology Club and Psi Beta, the college’s chapter of the national psychology honor society.

Based in Springfield, Ill, Mitchell offers hypnosis for weight loss, smoking cessation, and self-improvement, as well as the training needed to become a hypnotist. He travels worldwide performing shows that humorously and safely entertain while demonstrating the power of the human mind. This is the fourth time that Mitchell has performed at LSC-Montgomery since 2004.
