During the event, representatives from the college’s various degree and certificate programs will be available to discuss educations options with students and their families. For those interested in applying, or registering for classes, additional staff will be assisting with the application process.
The event will take place in the college’s Student Services Building located at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive. Campus tours will also be available throughout the evening to give prospective students an opportunity to visit the rest of the campus.
The LSC-North Harris Open House will also feature free food and t-shirts on a first-come, first-served basis. Prospective students can register to win one of three scholarships, valued at either $500 or $1,000, that can be used during the upcoming summer or fall semesters. Two Nintendo Wii game system will be given away at the end of the event, and two local radio stations will be on-hand throughout the night with various prizes for those in attendance.
