How will you interpret the abstract creations of the natural universe’s five elements in Tiffany Heng-Hui Lee’s exhibition of beauty, balance and harmony at Lone Star College-CyFair’s Bosque Gallery?
Reflecting her goal to raise awareness and respect for the environment, Lee’s artistry is expressed in hanging sculptures and mixed media paper collages representing wood, fire, earth, metal and water in her spring display “Elements” Feb. 29-April 11.
With the right proportions and sequence of the five elements and the intimate detail, Lee said she hopes her work pulls the viewer in “closer to nature, creating a feeling of peace and joy within” and “to allow them to become part of each piece rather than just being spectators looking in from outside.”
Bridging the disciplines of interior design and art, this visual artist with 30+ years of interior design experience said “Design can be a tool to address the real challenges of our society and help us to regain a balance between the natural and built environment.”
Meet Lee in person and learn more about this talented artist at the 6:30 p.m. opening reception Feb. 29, which includes live music and refreshments, as well as at the upcoming 1:30 p.m. Library Artist Talk March 27.
