The open house will provide information on course offerings, membership benefits, and social and cultural activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet instructors and current members, tour the facility, and learn about the registration process. The program offers a wide variety of courses, including technology, health and wellness, financial planning, literature, community service projects, and more. The program provides the opportunity for participants to connect with like-minded individuals and make new friends through literary discussion groups, genealogy, arts & crafts, history, and other activities.
"We are thrilled to showcase our unique program and all it has to offer at our open house event," said Program Coordinator, Steve Gorman. “The Academy for Lifelong Learning is a fantastic way for seniors over the age of 50 to meet new friends, pick up new skills, and learn about finance, history, science, cooking, and other topics. It is a great deal for only $25 a year."
Membership to the Academy for Lifelong Learning Program is $25 per semester and includes access to all courses, events, and social activities. Most classes are one to two hours in length, keeping in mind the busy schedules of seniors while designing activities.
The open house for Lone Star College-Montgomery will be held in Building B Atrium, located at 3200 College Park Drive Conroe, TX 77384. This is an excellent opportunity for prospective members to attend, meet with instructors, sample course materials, and ask any questions they might have about the program.
