In all, Insight Into Diversity magazine recognized 27 institutions and organizations nationwide. Winners were selected for their efforts to inspire and encourage a new generation of young people to consider careers in business through mentoring, teaching, research and successful programs and initiatives.

“We know that business programs are not always recognized for their success, dedication and mentorship for underrepresented students,” said Lenore Pearlstein, owner and publisher of Insight Into Diversity magazine in a statement. “We are thrilled to recognize those that create pathways for students who seek careers in a wide range of business sectors.”

Institutions and organizations recognized include Louisiana Tech University, Miami University, Syracuse University, The University of Oklahoma and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
