The Cy-Fair College Jazz Band presents “Blue Moods” - a performance and improvisation evening at Dec. 5 in the Recital Hall.

Charles Carson, professor, directs works from both legendary artists and talented up and coming students of jazz. All the works feature both well-crafted composed sections, as well as spontaneous improvisation.

A reception follows the 8 p.m. performance and tickets are $5 for the general audience and $3 for seniors and students with proper id.

The Recital Hall is located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
