Lone Star College-North Harris will host an information session titled Obamacare: Fact or Fiction? on Tuesday, October 15 from 11:50 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The presentation will take place in room 126 of the Academic Building.
Presenters will discuss the controversial Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, and explain how the new health care law may affect students, faculty and staff. The event is sponsored by The Children's Defense Fund and LSC-North Harris' American Association of University Women student group.
It is free and open to the public, and a light lunch will be served.
