What’s new in the industry of computer networking? Find out at the Lone Star College-CyFair Cisco Networking Academy Open House Oct. 29.
The Cisco Networking Academy teaches students both the fundamentals and advanced techniques of Cisco networking as well as provides opportunities to learn collaboration and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities and network simulations.
Attendees can tour the CCNA labs and meet staff who will also perform demonstrations of various technologies. Attendees will also find out about the courses in LSC-CyFair’s Cisco Network Academy that lead to industry certification, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNA-Security, CCNA-VoIP (voice over IP) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP.)
The open house will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Technology Building, room 114 on the LSC-CyFair campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
