HOUSTON (September 10, 2018) – The Career and Successful Transfer (CAST) Lab at Lone Star College-North Harris will host its first Open House on Tuesday, Sept.18 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in SB, RM-201.
Students, staff, and faculty will have the opportunity to meet the CAST staff, enjoy light refreshments, participate in giveaways and much more.
“We are honored to serve as a resource for students and be part of their journey,” said CAST Program Manager Kristina Raymond. “The CAST Lab is a student’s first step on their way to their next step. We affectionately refer to ourselves as the LIONS, which not only serves as a mascot, but is also an acronym which stands for Leading and Inspiring Opportunities for Newfound Success.”
The CAST Lab is a resource destination for student assistance and advising related to careers and transferring to a university. The staff help students explore their options through resume development, job search assistance, interviewing skills and professional etiquette, and by providing digital college resources and transfer academic advising.
