HOUSTON (April 4, 2012) – Lone Star College System is hosting a free Community and Careers Job Fair on Wednesday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the conference center at the LSC-University Park campus at 20515 State Highway 249 at Louetta Road in Houston.
Hosted by the LSCS Career Services Council and Veterans Affairs center, job seekers have the opportunity to network with more than 50 employers from around the Houston area seeking to fill a variety of full-and part-time employment positions representing many professional and non-professional occupations.
Those attending the job fair should:
• Dress professionally. Refrain from wearing cutoff shorts, jeans, flip flops or wrinkled clothes;
• Have 20-30 resumes to hand to employers. Free resume critiques will also be given.
“We are excited to host the Community and Careers Job Fair and to be able to connect employers from a variety of industries to job seekers from the Lone Star College service area,” said Brian Dooley, senior program manager career transition and transfer for LSCS.
