On Wednesday, Sept. 17, Lone Star College-North Harris Political Science Department is hosting a Constitution Day event, "The Constitution and the Election Process." The public is invited to attend this free forum, noon to 1 p.m., 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, Academic Building Teaching Theater, room A-126.
This is the fourth year the college has offered public events recognizing the congressionally mandated Constitution Day. Every school or college that receives federal money must offer educational opportunities surrounding this most important American document and the historic September 17th date when the manuscript was signed in 1787.
LSC-North Harris Political Professors Warren Anderson, Carolyn Davis and James Puetz will makeup the panel of top educators. Combined they offer more than 90 years of expertise in what should be a lively discourse with Political Professor Tim Howard moderating.
