Earn college credit in just a few weeks during Lone Star College-Montgomery’s winter mini-mester session, which begins December 16.
These three- or four-week classes take place Monday-Friday until January 5 or January 12, depending on the course, and many are even offered online, allowing students to complete coursework from home. Most mini-mester classes are transferrable and cost just a fraction of the tuition at a four-year university. Tuition and fees for a three-credit-hour course total just $200 for students who reside in the Lone Star College System service area.
LSC-Montgomery’s mini-mester offerings include courses in Art, Biology, Business, Computer Information Technology, Drama, Economics, English, Government, History, Math (including select developmental courses), Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Speech.
Registration begins Monday, November 18, and the last day to register and pay is Friday, December 13. Winter mini-mester classes do fill up quickly, so early registration is recommended.
