Lone Star College-Montgomery to host DYONYX CEO for Power Series

CONROE (September 6, 2019) – Lone Star College-Montgomery will host guest speaker, Chuck Orrico, to kick-off the annual Power Series sessions. The event features industry-leading experts to provide advice, insight, and resources for success. Orrico is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the TRAC Center.

Orrico will focus on the creation and success of DYONYX, a multi-million-dollar IT business. DYONYX is now one of the largest Cyber Security companies in Houston. The company provides IT and Risk Management Consulting to maintain critical infrastructures through secure and efficient means. Some of the company’s well-known clients include CISCO, Microsoft, and VMware. Students will gain valuable insight into starting a business and what it takes to be their boss.

“I am excited about this opportunity to share my strategies for success in business development with Lone Star College-Montgomery students,” said Orrico.

“For over ten years, the Power Series, executive business leadership sessions, have provided students with useful information and resources related to ‘success in the professional world’ from local business corporate executive leaders who represent various corporate industries,” Dr. LeBron, TRAC Supervisor, explained.

The Power Series is open to students, faculty, administrators, and community leaders in the Houston area. The next Power Series will feature Houston Assistant District Attorney and Misdemeanor Chief, Nathan Beddle, Wednesday, September 25.
