Lone Star College-CyFair’s Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree plan now includes early childhood education courses.

In addition to credit toward the AAT degree and transferring to a four-year university bachelor’s program, the new courses help those interested in Texas Classroom Teacher Certification as well as those who want to gain continuing education hours for CDA licenses/childcare center professional development.

The new courses are Child and Adolescent Development (TECA 1354) available for Summer/Fall 2016; Families, School and Community (TECA 1303) available Fall 2016; and Educating the Young Child (TECA 1311 available Spring 2017

Registration is under way for Summer II session that starts July 14 and for fall semester, which starts Aug. 29.
