The Lone Star College-Montgomery Fine Arts Department announced an exciting lineup for the spring semester. All events are open to the community and admission prices range. |
Fall Semester Art Gallery Exhibits:
“Dialogue” by Lydia Bodnar
Balahutrak will be displayed from Jan. 19- Feb. 19. Art closing reception
will be Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 12 p.m.
LSC Montgomery Art Faculty Show will be displayed from March 7-25. Art opening reception will be Tuesday,
March 8, at 12 p.m.
“Re-Western” by Felice House and Dana Younger will be displayed from April
4-29. Art opening reception will be Monday, April 4, at 12 p.m.
Juried Student Show?works will be
displayed from May 9-13. Art reception will be Monday, May 10, from
5-7 p.m.
All exhibits and artist receptions are held
in the Mary Matteson-Parrish Art Gallery located in the Performing Arts Center
(building D). The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. All
art exhibits are free of charge and open to the public. For more information on

Jazz Ensemble Concert performs Tuesday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m.
Symphonic Band and Symphony Orchestra
Concert performs Thursday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m.
Spring Choir Concert performs Thursday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m.
Jazz Ensemble Concert performs Thursday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m.
Music Department Showcase performs on Thursday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m.

take place in the Recital Hall venue (building H). General pricing for tickets:
$5 student/employee; $7 seniors 55+; and $10 general admission, except the
Music Department Showcase, which are $10 student/employee; $18 seniors 55+; and

Spring Semester Drama Performances:
Actors Workshop will be performed in the Black Box Theater (building D) Thursday-Saturday,
Feb. 18-20, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 20, at 3 p.m. and 7.p.m. Tickets: $5
General Admission.
Into The Woods will be performed in the Mainstage Theatre (building D) Thursday-Saturday,
April 21-23, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 23, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets:
$7 student/employee; $10 seniors 55+; $15 general admission. Preview
performance Wednesday, April 20, at 5:30 p.m., and is free for Lone Star College
students/employees and $5 general admission.
The Nerd will be
performed in the Mainstage Theatre (building D) Thursday-Saturday, July 7-9, at
7 p.m., and Saturday, July 9, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets: $5 student/employee;
$7 seniors 55+; $10 general admission. Preview performance Wednesday, Jul. 6,
at 5:30 p.m. and is free for Lone Star College students/employees and $5 general
admission.
