The Lone Star College-North Harris Division of Fine Arts presents “The Jungle Book,” a classic adventure story by Rudyard Kipling. Daily performances are scheduled for June 26 through June 30.
The Jungle Book transports audiences to mystical India with the tale of the young “man-cub,” Mowgli, a boy raised by animals who inhabits this mysterious jungle. Befriended by some animals and pursued by others, Mowgli is eventually forced to choose between the animal kingdom and the more “civilized” human world.
You are invited to come along this summer on this extraordinary adventure with Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, and Shere Khan, experiencing this epic tale like never before seen onstage. Combining puppets, live action, and stunning scenery, this classic tale will be a hit with the whole family.
Take advantage of a special preview on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m., for the discounted price of $5.
Following the sneak preview, nightly performances will take place Wednesday, June 26 through Saturday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional performance on Saturday, June 29 at 2 p.m. On Sunday, June 30, the play will conclude with a 2 p.m. matinee show.
