Lone Star College Foundation to host annual golf tournament

LSC Foundation Golf Tournament 2023
Golfers are invited to participate in the 30th annual Lone Star College Foundation Golf Tournament taking place Nov. 13 at The Woodlands Country Club.

Lone Star College Foundation will hold its 30th annual golf tournament Monday, Nov. 13, at The Woodlands Country Club courses. This major fundraising event helps change lives through student scholarships and quality educational programs.

“Enriching lives is one of the core missions of Caldwell Companies, which is why we are passionate about supporting Lone Star College Foundation,” said Miranda Hadamik, Caldwell Companies Executive Vice President, Investments and LSC Foundation Golf Tournament Chair.

Golfers can choose between playing on the Palmer Course designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer or the Tournament Course, which hosts the annual PGA Tour Champions Insperity Invitational.

“This tournament offers a wonderful opportunity to support education in our community,” said Nicole Robinson Gauthier, CFRE, LSC Foundation executive director. “We appreciate the assistance shown by businesses and individuals who are dedicated to helping our Lone Star College students succeed.”

The tournament includes a shotgun start, hole-in-one, longest drive and closet-to-the-pin contests. A dinner and awards ceremony will follow the tournament. Proceeds will go toward tuition scholarships, emergency aid relief and textbook funds.

“I am honored to serve as the 2023 Golf Tournament chair, aligning two of my passions, serving the community by providing access to higher education through scholarships and my love for the game of golf,” said Hadamik.

Additionally, there will be a raffle, and the cost for one ticket is $20 or $100 for six tickets. Participants do not have to be present to win.

  1. Raffle Package One: TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver and 48 Pro V1x golf balls (Value = $840)
