Lone Star College-Kingwood is offering a community food fair to assist staff, students and the public.
The food fair is an effort to help those who might be struggling as food prices rise. The fair is free and open to everyone. It will offer fresh meat, fruits, vegetables, and non-perishable items. The fair is sponsored by HAAM and Mission Northeast.
Here are the details:
- Where: LSC-Kingwood, 20000 Kingwood Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339 (Parking Lot G)
- When: Thursday, October 19th, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Drivers should enter on Kingwood Place Drive, then proceed to Parking Lot G. Food will be distributed while supplies last.
Organizers are seeking faculty, staff and student volunteers to help with the setup, distribution and cleanup. For more information, please email: Alfred.Dorsey@LoneStar.edu.
