Lone Star College System facilities will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday beginning May 24 through May 26. Regular office operations resume Tuesday, May 27.
Memorial Day honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it began after the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.
