Global Awareness Day Planned for April 27 at Lone Star College-Montgomery

Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Global Awareness Day, with the theme of "Global Security," will take place Wednesday, April 27, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the fountain courtyard area located outside the Student Services Center (Building C).
 
There will be students with displays about their home countries as well as a lot of international food and various other booths from the community. Cultural entertainment will include Bollywood, African dance, and more. The finale will be an international fashion show put on by the students. It is a free event and the community is invited to attend.
 
The country and activity booths will run during the entire event, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The program includes:

11:30 a.m.       Rathal Cumae - Bollywood
12 p.m.            Food
12:15 p.m.       NuNu Belly Dancer
12:30 p.m.       Ruumba House (African Dancers)
1:15 p.m.         Performer from Turkey
1:30 p.m.         Cultural Fashion show
