Lone Star College-CyFair’s Music Department presents an evening of inspiration shared with the student voices of LSC-CyFair’s Chamber Singers and Concert Choir Oct. 25.

“Our choirs will inspire the community with contrasting songs that will move people’s hearts to an inlaying of beautiful sounds,” said LSC-CyFair’s Dr. Paulo Gomes, conductor.

The 7:30 p.m. program includes music by Whitacre, Brahms, Raminsh, Dilworth, Cordero, Chatman and Mendelssohn as well as features Dr. Yung-Wei Sun, soprano, and Eunae Lee, piano.

In addition, preview Dr. Sun’s enchanting artistry in an Oct. 21 operatic vocal faculty recital as part of the Music Department’s free “Discovery Recital Series”  which concludes Nov. 1 with “Around the World” - a vibrant program of global music with the return of the Mud Turtle Quintet: guitarist Marc Rosenberg, Zelda Gray and String Quartet.
