The Lone Star College-CyFair Music Department presents a concert that delivers a message of love with “Fauré's Requiem” on stage April 27.

“Unlike other famous Requiems, Fauré's Requiem seems almost like a fairy tale. This peaceful chorus piece describes aspiration scenery toward beauties and happiness above,” said Alex Qian, LSC-CyFair’s artistic director of vocal activities. “In addition, audiences will hear a unique suite for orchestra called ‘Pelleas et Melisande.’”

The 3 p.m. concert will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors. Group discounts are available.
