A major move for the Coyote Baseball Team: Lone Star College-Kingwood announced its first ever Sports Letter of Intent/Understanding Signing in college history.

Simon Cardona met with coaches last week to make it official. Cardona is a student at Mayde Creek High School in Houston. He plans to play at LSC-Kingwood while earning his degree.

Cardona said he’s been working hard to make it to the next level and is honored to be a part of the Coyotes. He said, “To me the signing meant everything…I want to thank my parents for spending countless hours and money to help me get better. I’ve been playing baseball since I was about 6 or 7 and from there I knew this would be my passion.”
