Leadership North Houston invites the community and LNH alumni to the 13th annual graduation celebration and awards dinner Thursday, May 15 at Shirley Acres, 217 Woerner Road.
In addition to honoring the 33 graduates of the 2007-2008 class, including Dean Abdul Tamimi of Lone Star College-CyFair, the evening will also the presentation of the
John E. Pickelman Leadership North Houston Fellow Award and the
Distinguished Community Leadership Award.
This year’s recipient of the fellow award is Fred Caldwell, president and CEO of Caldwell Companies.
The LNH Board presents this award annually to a worthy community leader who has shown outstanding leadership qualities that benefit the entire community.
Nominees for the distinguished leader include Shelia Redmon-Jones of the Greenspoint District, Phyllis Oustifine of Hawes Hill Calderon, LLP, and Connie Maxfield of Maxfield Productivity Consultants, Inc. This award is given to an LNH alumni who has demonstrated community leadership and has the quality of empowering and inspiring others.
This memorable evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception and includes a silent auction, dinner and the graduation and award ceremonies.
