Lone Star College-CyFair’s Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree plan offers a Paraprofessional Cohort Program uniquely designed for paraprofessionals interested in teaching.

Paraprofessionals should first apply for the AAT degree and then register for EDUC 1301-5011. This degree plan will transfer to any four-year university leading to teacher certificate.

Limited to 25 students, the Introduction to the Teaching Profession course is offered as a hybrid format with face-to-face class held 6 p.m. – 7:20 p.m. Thursdays with additional online assignments.

Registration begins April 13 for the fall semester which begins Aug. 29.
