Lone Star College-CyFair’s summer youth program for ages 14-17 has gone virtual with geology, physics, art, music, drafting, career success talk and more.

LSC-CyFair’s Discovery College provides hours of fun with STEAM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) sessions designed specifically for teens to help build self-esteem, set goals and plan for college.

“This year’s youth camp still offers opportunities to experience, learn and explore a number of exciting topics,” said Kimberly Moore-Crenshaw, camp coordinator and manager.

Summer sessions allow teens to enjoy musical and theatrical performance, see how hands-on lessons change their mathematical mindset or delve into the world of art and architecture, she said.

All virtual sessions are 16 hours total for $115. Sessions will be held from June 15-July 16.
