Lone Star College-CyFair’s Speaking of Business Series continues May 5 with the “Workforce Readiness: What Employers Want You to Know Before Saying ‘You’re Hired!’” panel discussion.

Don’t miss this event with Human Resources professionals who will provide strategies for getting and maintaining jobs in today’s changing economy.

The event topics will include: Bringing your “A-Game” to work, career-killing mistakes on social media networks; getting noticed during a job fair; preparing for a job interview; surviving a job lay off and tips for career changers.

Light refreshments will be served at this event held from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at 9191 Barker Cypress; however, space is limited.

 The free Speaking of Business Series is designed to enhance the personal and professional development of future business and community leaders.
