Enjoy a cultural month of workshops about European cuisine, musicals, self-defense and family letters this July at Lone Star College-CyFair
The free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are held Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the library (LRNC room 131 unless otherwise noted) at 9191 Barker Cypress. There will be no program July 3 due to the Fourth of July holiday.

Mamma Mia! cast member Ralph Sanders, as Harry Bright in the Stageworks Theatre production, performs from the musical and talks about what its like to have a dream career in opera, musicals, and theater. Meet in the Center for the Arts Building, Recital Hall 102.

Kinesiology professor and owner of Mousel's Self-Defense Academy, Tim Mousel walks us through some easy and effective ways to protect ourselves.
- July 31 When We Wrote Letters
Irene McDonald, professional translator, believes that personal letters can bestow a kind of immortality. Through actual letters from hexers to housewives, she shows us how letters can keep alive the memories and history of families.
