Spring 2024 registration at Lone Star College begins Monday, Oct. 9.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics shows a lower unemployment rate for people who have some college credits or an associate degree than those with only a high school diploma. Lone Star College can help increase your career options or prepare you to transfer to a four-year academic program.

Registration for LSC’s spring 2024 semester opens Monday, Oct. 9, and classes start Tuesday, Jan. 16. Courses are structured to help students complete a degree, transfer to a four-year university or enter the workforce. Programs include accounting, anthropology, arts, biology, business, chemistry, criminal justice, communications, economics, drama, government, EDUC 1300, English, foreign languages, health care programs, history, humanities, math, speech and various workforce programs.

“It was an amazing experience to be one of the first graduates of LSC-Online and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my instructors motivating me to continue my education,” said Kristena Hackett, LSC-Online graduate. “Lone Star College-Online is educating students and changing lives, one student at a time.”

Lone Star College classes are available in person, online and hybrid. The college will host a Fall Preview Day Oct. 21 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at all eight main campuses.
