Lone Star College-CyFair’s Drama Department will hold open auditions this month for the children’s summer theatre production “Freckleface Strawberry: The Musical.”

Based on actress Julianne Moore’s best-selling book, director Jeff Wax is seeking 7 lead roles (4 female and 3 male) as well as students cast to fill the roles of Dance Captain and Music Captain. Dance Captains may be asked to provide original choreography for dance numbers.  Music Captains will be responsible for ensuring principal and chorus actors know all show music.

Auditions will be held from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesdays March 23 and March 30 in the Recital Hall, Art 102, located in the Center for the Arts building at 9191 Barker Cypress.
