On Monday, Nov. 29, at approximately 9:00 p.m., an attempted robbery of a Lone Star College-North Harris student occurred at the bus stop in front of the college’s library.
Although there were no injuries and no property was stolen, LSC-North Harris will continue to take all possible precautions to prevent any future incidents of crime on campus. The college will be posting notices across campus to inform students about this unfortunate event and remind them of the security resources that are available.
Any student, employee, or visitor who sees suspicious activity is asked to report it immediately to 281.290.5911. Additionally, a campus escort by our police or security officers is available by calling 281.290.5911. Students and employees are urged to save this number in their phones so that it is easily accessible.
It is also important that everyone on campus remains aware of their surroundings. Hiding valuables, parking in well-lit areas, and using the lighted walkways to navigate the campus are among the most effective ways to protect against crime.
