Lone Star College has not let the COVID-19 pandemic hamper its mission of providing comprehensive educational opportunities and programs to enrich lives.
As such, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Atascocita Center, and LSC-Process Technology Center will offer more face-to-face classes, beginning Jan. 18, since the pandemic started. The college will further increase in-person selections for fall 2022.
“In the last few semesters, we’ve received high demand for more on-campus courses at LSC-Kingwood,” said Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, campus president. “This action will allow our students an opportunity to reconnect with their instructors, staff, and their peers.”
There is still time to register for spring 2022 classes, and academic transfer, core, workforce, continuing education, and other courses are also available online or in a hybrid format. Offerings include accounting, anthropology, arts, biology, business, chemistry, criminal justice, communications, cosmetology, economics, drama, government, EDUC 1300, English, fire science, foreign languages, health care programs, history, humanities, math, process and instrumentation technology, sciences, and much more.
“LSC-Kingwood offers a variety of credit, continuing education, workforce, and other educational paths to help you meet your academic or career goals,” Gonzalez said. “We encourage you to start your journey with us toward a bright future.”
