It’s Go Time! Monday, Oct. 10, registration begins for winter mini-mester 2022 and spring 2023 classes at Lone Star College-University Park. Faculty and staff encourage students to “Get in the Game” early and lock in their class schedule.
LSC-University Park will host a “Get in the Game” student enrollment block party from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 10 in the campus courtyard. The block party includes inflatables, board games, food, music, and more. College mascot Leo the Lion also takes part in the action. Academic and financial advisers will be on hand to assist students with questions about course selection, degree plans, financial aid, and the registration process. No payment is due at registration. Students who register for courses between Monday, Oct. 10 and noon on Friday, Oct. 14, have a chance to win Houston Astros collectible items.

Students are encouraged to pick their courses before Thanksgiving to ensure a winning class combination. The winter mini-mester begins Monday, Dec. 19, and spring semester classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 17. Additionally, 8-week Next Start classes for the fall are still open and available. The 8-week fall class session begins Oct. 26.
LSC-University Park offers more than 70 programs of study, including credit and non-credit courses, workforce training, and continuing education classes. Classes can be taken during the day, evenings, and weekends in traditional, online, and hybrid formats.
